Dog friendly walks in Kingsbridge

The walks around Kingsbridge reward those who get out and explore, with estuary trails, ancient woodland and stretches of South West Coast Path all within easy reach.

Follow the estuary south from Kingsbridge towards Snapes Point for sweeping views across the water, or drop down to Bowcombe Creek for a muddier adventure through the fields towards West Charleton. West Alvington Woods is a local favourite with ancient trees, birdsong and enough room to let dogs roam freely. Further afield, the coastal path between Hope Cove and Bolt Tail opens up dramatic headland views, with the quieter cove at Soar Mill tucked just beyond.

For something wilder, Dartmoor is also less than an hour away and offers endless adventure.
